Window shade repair
Shades present their own set of repair challenges. Roller shades may track unevenly or refuse to retract. Cellular shades can develop sagging cells or broken cord channels. Roman shades sometimes pull to one side or lose tension in the lift system.
We handle all of it! Our repair process begins with an assessment of the shade's condition, the operating system, and the fabric. From there, we identify replacement parts, restring when necessary, and test everything before we leave. For motorized shades running on the PowerView® system, we troubleshoot connectivity, motor responsiveness, and battery performance.
Window shutter repair
Louvered shutters are built to last for years, but hinges loosen, louvers crack, and tension rods wear out over time. We repair shutters across a range of styles, including full-height panels, cafe-style configurations, and bi-fold track systems.
When a shutter component is damaged, we match the original finish, material, and hardware as closely as possible. If a full panel replacement is the better option, we walk you through the process and handle the ordering, fitting, and installation ourselves. As a Hunter Douglas Platinum Gallery dealer, we have direct access to genuine parts and technical documentation — which means repairs are done to the same specifications as the original installation.
Hunter Douglas warranty coverage applies as follows:
- Restrings (internal strings): 7 years from purchase
- Motorized mechanisms: 5 years from purchase
- Manual lift mechanisms: Lifetime
For warranty repairs on products purchased through Little Blind Spot, we handle the process start to finish — assessing the product, sourcing parts, and coordinating with Hunter Douglas on your behalf when needed.

What falls outside our service parameters
Little Blind Spot services Hunter Douglas window treatments purchased through us and within the applicable warranty period. We are not able to service:
- Window treatments purchased elsewhere
- Hunter Douglas products outside of warranty
- Non-Hunter Douglas brands
If your repair falls outside these parameters, we're happy to provide a referral to a trusted repair specialist — and if a replacement makes more sense, we can provide a quote on the spot.
