Meet the team who'll be in your home, and exactly what to expect from the day we install your custom window treatments.

After weeks of anticipation, installation day is when your rooms finally come together. It's the part most families tell us they enjoy most — and it's also the part people wonder about. Who's coming? How long will it take? What do I need to do beforehand?

Here's exactly what to expect, so installation day feels familiar before it arrives.

Meet the team coming to your home

Every installation is handled by our own in-house team. These are our people, trained to our standard, and many of them have been with us for years. you'll know who's arriving before they knock.

What does an installation look like

01. We arrive on time and walk the rooms

Your installer confirms the plan with you, room by room, and answers any questions before the work begins. Nothing is a surprise.

02. We protect your home and work cleanly

We treat your home the way we'd treat our own — careful with floors and furnishings, tidy as we go, and we take the packaging with us when we leave.

03. We install with precision

Each treatment is mounted to the exact measurements taken in your home, checked for fit and operation, and adjusted until it sits and moves exactly as it should.

04. We show you how everything works.

Before we go, we walk you through operating and caring for each treatment — including any motorization — and make sure you're comfortable with all of it. Then we make sure you know to call with any question down the road, even small ones.

FAQs about installation that we hear from customers

1. Do I need to be home for the installation?
You're welcome to be, but you don't have to be. Many families give us access and come home to finished rooms. If you'd rather be there for the walk-through at the end, we'll plan around that, too.

2. Is there anything I need to do beforehand?
Very little. Clearing a path to your windows and moving any small or fragile items nearby is helpful, but our team handles the rest.

3. Will you remove and dispose of my old window treatments?
Yes. We take down your existing window treatments and remove all packaging and debris when we leave, so the only thing left behind is the finished result. Please do talk to your design consultant at the time of order if you are wanting us to remove and dispose of any existing window treatments so we can plan for that time needed at the time of install.

4. Will the installation make a mess?
We treat your home the way we'd treat our own — careful with floors and furnishings, tidy as we go, and we take all packaging and debris with us when we leave.

5. What if I'm not sure how to operate everything once it's installed?
That's exactly why we don't leave until we've shown you. Before we go, we walk you through operating and caring for each treatment — including any motorization — and make sure you feel comfortable with all of it. And if a question comes up later, you call the same team that installed it.

6. What if something needs adjusting after you've left?
You call us. We service what we sell, handle adjustments, and stand behind our work — that's been true since 1978.
